TESUQUE (?) MOCCASIN PAIR circa 1960

These came from a collection gathered in the 1960s. I've called them Tesuque based on the clay, but they could be from Cochiti, Kewa or somewhere else. Despite their condition, I wanted these on the site simply because high top moccasins are scarce, and pairs seldom turn up. The one on the left has a good-sized chip on its rim, and the one on the right has a lot more missing. I don't see them as candidates for restoration. They're what they are, and their history might as well show.

The one on the left: 2-1/2" wide by 3-1/4" deep x 4" high

The one on the right: 2-3/4" wide by 3" deep x 3-5/8" high

Except for the rim damage, they're actually in pretty good shape for 60-year-old tourist pieces.

S-1058   $95 for the pair
